Métis Herbalist LoriAnn Bird and I, Allie Yaanua Sugiura, Community Herbalist are raising funds to help our brothers and sisters from the Shuar community in Ecuador to recover their stolen lands.

Currently we are in the process of purchasing their 21 hectares of Amazonia rainforest land out of 223 hectares that were taken by individuals who own petro companies.

Our brother and sister, Andrés Jimbicti and Enriqueta Wajuyata are seeking supports to pay for their lawyer and land surveys to reacquire their lands. This is the phase 1 of fund raising.

We are trusting to raise more than 6000 US dollars here as the first phase with your support. Please help us to share and bring awareness on how we can protect the Amazonian rainforest for our Relatives.

Phase 2 is hosting folks to come and experience and meet the Shuar community.

Phase 3 is continued support.
